The 7W Lodge is a residential treatment center with a program designed to help adults recover from drug and alcohol addiction. At the core, we are committed to a good strong twelve-step approach. We believe that a structured program of abstinence, experiential therapy, nutrition and fitness optimize your recovery. We are a small, focused and personal facility. A typical stay is twenty-eight days. In many cases, the best results are obtained with longer stays.
Upon admission, our staff and team of consultants will develop an individualized program for each person. Participation in the many activities we offer is dependent upon the interest and ability of the participant.
Family Program
At 7W Lodge we believe recovery is important for the entire family. To begin facilitating this healing process, once each month we offer a program for families. We invite families to attend a program that is both educational and personally meaningful. The core of our family program consists of therapeutic groups for both clients and families. Individual family conferences are provided for both couples and entire family groups. Participants learn that they did not cause the disease of addiction, and cannot fix it. Our holistic approach in treating the pain of addiction through body, mind, and spirit encompasses a variety of experiential activities. Our unique mountain setting gives the participant the opportunity to hike, snowshoe meditate, and experience the power of equine therapy. We consider the family to be an integral part of the recovery process and tailor our treatment to meet this component. We believe in assisting families, couples and significant others to adapt attitudes that embrace recovery to develop and maintain healthy relationships. Goals for the family program are to educate and reduce upset feelings about addiction. We encourage family participants to explore self-care and how this impacts their relationships. Our philosophy is to approach the sensitive family dynamics with care and compassion promoting the healing process.
Aftercare Program
At 7W Lodge our objective is to provide comprehensive treatment from alcohol/drugs. We offer a cutting edge aftercare program that few treatment centers provide. This program begins during your residential treatment experience. Residential and aftercare staff meets with the client to begin to develop aftercare goals and planning. When residential treatment is completed our aftercare staff maintains contact with clients via phone, electronically or in person. Contact is made weekly for six weeks with a step down program monthly for two years. This program is individualized and modified according to clients need. We assist the client in finding 12 step groups and sponsors in their home area. We provide information regarding relapse prevention and personalize a prevention plan. We provide literature regarding early recovery issues. Our staff will make recommendations for ongoing therapy, and aftercare groups. Research indicates relapse is less prevalent the longer clients are involved in the treatment and recovery process. Our long term personalized aftercare program is innovative in the treatment industry. We believe in a 12 step abstinence based recovery program and view addiction and recovery as a lifelong journey. Most chemical relapse occurs during the first year of recovery. Our aftercare program is designed to circumvent potential relapse in early recovery. Our philosophy of continued support gives the addict and family the optimal opportunity for recovery.
